Terms
Last updated: 6 September 2026
These terms govern the use of the sFTP Pro application and of this website. Using either means accepting them.
sFTP Pro is licensed, not sold. You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the app on the Macs you own or control, for personal or business purposes.
If you obtained the app from the Mac App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement applies, and prevails over these terms wherever the two disagree.
sFTP Pro moves your files between your Mac and servers you choose. You remain responsible for those servers, for the credentials you use, and for the content you transfer.
Keep backups. The app can delete and overwrite files on a remote server, and those operations cannot be undone from within the app.
The app is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. It is not guaranteed to be uninterrupted or error free, and compatibility with every server configuration cannot be promised.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, loss of data, loss of profit or business interruption arising from the use or inability to use the app. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence.
Consumers keep all mandatory rights granted by the applicable consumer protection law; nothing in these terms reduces them.
sFTP Pro includes open source software, in particular Citadel and Apple's SwiftNIO, published under the Apache License 2.0. The respective licences and copyright notices apply to those components.
New versions may be published from time to time. There is no obligation to keep publishing updates or to keep the app available indefinitely.
These terms are governed by Italian law. For consumers, the mandatory provisions and the competent court of the country of residence remain unaffected.
